1. Introduction
Welcome to Tiime (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our time tracking and invoicing platform (“Service”).
2. Information We Collect
  • Account information: name, email address, organization name, and profile photo when you create an account through Clerk authentication.
  • Usage data: time entries, project details, client information, invoices, and files you upload while using the Service.
  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and access timestamps collected automatically.
  • Payment information: billing details processed securely through our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers.
3. How We Use Your Information
  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Process transactions and send related notices.
  • Send administrative messages, security alerts, and support communications.
  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance performance and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
  • Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, authentication, payment processing).
  • Your organization administrators who have access to team-level data within your workspace.
  • Law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by applicable law.
  • Parties involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with prior notice.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Convex, a secure real-time database platform. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled by Clerk with support for multi-factor authentication. While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).

  • Access and receive a copy of your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tiime.app.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to maintain session state and authentication. We may use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the Service. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
